The Pelvic Health Center at 7900 Fannin is the first established Center in Houston staffed by Fellowship trained Urogynecologists and board certified Colon and Rectal surgeons working together. The Center offers convenient referrals and scheduling for women with incontinence, colorectal complaints, and other pelvic-related health problems. Physicians who are the foundation of the Center offer diagnosis and treatment in one location.
“The Pelvic Health Center is designed to focus on patient care and the latest in diagnostics,” according to Dr. Peter Lotze, who is Board Certified and Fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. “Patients no longer have to go from one specialist to another for these services. At the Pelvic Health Center, a group of physicians with specific expertise in pelvic health can provide medical care and diagnosis that creates a continuum of care to benefit the patient and referring physician.”
Dr. Lotze is joined by Dr. Ginger Cathey, Board Certified and Fellowship trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery as well as the surgeons at CSA.
“We developed this center to facilitate the referral process for patients needing care for urinary, gynecological and colorectal problems,” says Dr. Haas. “Often, patients who have urinary incontinence, as an example, also have fecal incontinence. We can provide diagnostics and same-day referrals to a specialist, which saves the patient time and reduces the stress of waiting.”
