Dr. Anne T. Le graduated from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. She then pursued her residency surgical training at Baylor College of Medicine.
After completion of her general surgery training, Dr. Le received
fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Texas Affiliated Hospitals Program.
Dr. Le is certified by the
American Board of Surgery. She has presented academic papers on the
benefits of laparoscopic colon surgery at conferences. Her primary interest in the field
of colon and rectal surgery is laparoscopic surgery for cancer as well
as for benign diseases such as diverticulitis and inflammatory bowel
disease. In addition, Dr. Le also specializes in treatment of
common anorectal disorders. She also offers treatment of pelvic floor
disorders such as rectal prolapse and fecal incontinence.
Dr. Le serves as staff surgeon and faculty at Woman's Hospital of Texas, St. Joseph Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and University General Hospital.
